Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in construction projects by operating and maintaining large machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and graders. Your expertise in handling this equipment will help shape and prepare construction sites, perform excavation tasks, and ensure the proper placement of materials. This role requires precision, attention to safety, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery to assist in excavation, grading, and material movement
• Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment before and after use to ensure functionality
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report any safety concerns or equipment issues
• Collaborate with other team members and follow instructions to complete projects efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and job site plans as required

Requirements:

• Certification or training in heavy equipment operation
• Experience operating machinery in a construction setting
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for heavy equipment
• Physical fitness and ability to work long hours in outdoor conditions
